Account Manager Digital Assets

We are an industry leader in the digital asset fund sector, having launched services in 2017, and continue to evolve the industry through tokenised fund services.We are seeking Account Manager with digital assets experience to join our team in the Cayman Islands. Client focused and service oriented, we are looking for someone who is professionally minded, committed and demonstrates great interpersonal skills.
The Role

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Client Accounting locally to deliver industry leading accounting products and services to our fund clients, with a primary focus on digital assets and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Deliver insight and value to our clients, with a concentration of digital asset investment strategies, primarily via venture capital and tokenised structures
  • Provide an excellent customer experience by adhering to Trident’s established client service commitment: responsiveness, reliability, attention to detail, and personal service
  • Be responsible for a designated portfolio of clients and ensure service is delivered with distinction to achieve a high level of client satisfaction
  • Provide coaching and feedback to accountants and administrators, both locally and in other offices, to promote an environment of support and growth
  • Prepare (and review) NAV calculations and administrative functions related thereto, as outlined in the procedural guidelines
  • Prepare (and review) financial statements to IFRS or US GAAP standards
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to provide comfort, evidence controls or respond to queries
  • Prepare (and review) wire payments with our clients’ banking providers or through other approved means
  • Maintain relevant, up-to-date knowledge, along with a clear understanding and application of applicable legislation, processes, and policies
  • Provide suggestions to improve procedures and enhance the overall customer experience
  • As required, and with direction from leadership, resolve day-to-day service issues that arise
  • Review frequently and maintain working knowledge of the provisions of AML regulations, IT policy and GDPR policies
  • Engage with the Head of Client Accounting to continually review and define our strategy for digital assets into the future

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA)
  • A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
  • Experience working with market leading accounting software, including Allvue and Geneva
  • Experience and interest working with Digital Assets, Venture Capital and Tokenised Structures
