Do you want to be part ofthe sustainable development of the Guardianship Council from Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba (BES) from an oversight role? The Guardianship Council is looking for a third member within the Council.

With a commitment to the well-being of vulnerable minors in Caribbean Netherlands the Council provides comprehensive oversight on the continuity of the organization. The main tasks of the Council are:

• Monitoring the proper execution of legal tasks by the office
• Contributing to ensuring that the office has the necessary quality and resources to carry out its tasks properly
• Reporting to the Ministry of Justice and Security on its activities through an annual report

Required competencies and skills

• Integrity and reliability
• Background or knowledge of the requested portfolio business operation, financial management and accountability
• You live on St. Eustatius
• You are available for several meetings per year (including preparation).
• You are independent and impartial, with no conflicts of interest with any other function or role you hold
